The Liberator

Another MSPaint. This is, for me, the greatest Biblical character. He is Moses, the Liberator of slaves and mankind's greatest and first recorded slave abolitionist. It is through his spirit and legacy that Spartacus, Sir William Wallace, Abraham Lincoln, Francois L'Overture, Joseph Cinque, Frederick Douglass and the other world's famous slave abolitionists found the same wisdom which is most precious to mankind that without it, life itself is meaningless---- FREEDOM.

I fashioned him into dreadlocks and darkened his skin so that it would emphasize the truest essence of revolution and crusade against oppression that our modern world finds to be absolutely tangible. The Africans were the latest in history's records and, as far as we are concerned, the most recognizable victims of slavery from our recent times. So I am inspired to have a Cushite (African) image of Moses so that his legacy will make sense to the tragedy that has occurred from the 16th to the 20th Century. What inspired me to fashion his hairdo to dreadlocks could never be more obvious. Dreadlocks represents fear of the Lord (Jah in Ethipoian faith) and the never ending struggle against oppression from the earliest past until the ultimate future. Thus, "In God's name, there will be no more slavery, there will be no more oppression."
